VERY HAPPY EX-TENANT
I rented a very high end home from this company and was very pleased! I lived at this property for one year and just recently moved out. During my occupancy, they responded to my needs VERY promptly. I had a VERY bad experience with another management company in Lake Oswego, but this company held their ethical values as Management companies should. I received almost all of my deposit back which was quite large (1800.00), but the house was left spotless and in great condition. To many times these days, landlords like to make a profit off of deposits. This was not the case with Alpine. I would definitely rent from them again, even if it meant less of house, because I trust there honesty. Also, one month my rent was one day late, due to a holiday being on a Sunday and me not knowing that the post office would be closed on that Monday :(. I called Alpine and they did remove the 100.00 fee. VERY FAIR COMPANY, as long as you are good tenants.
I was a previous home owner who lost my home to foreclosure, I was used to taking care of my own property for 9 years. This until came the time to rent. After reading reviews of Alpine I was on edge as to what to expect, especially that any deposit I would give would be returned. This was certainly not the case.
Initially upon move-in, I took photos of the state of the apartment upon move-in to provide a reference for how it was left upon move out. These were never needed, nor did we have any maintenance issues or problems at all during our entire stay with Alpine or the condo. We wanted to stay in our apartment and with Alpine however, the owner of our rented condo decided to sell the condo.
We received our full deposit back less the cost of carpet shampooing which was explained to us upon move-in and move-out. The shampooing cost was very reasonable and certainly a better option than hiring an outside company to do this especially during a new move. Since we had a large deposit due to my foreclosure, I was happy to see this money returned without any problems at all. I was on edge of what to expect based on other reviews but this was certainly not my case. We took care of the condo, paid our rent on time and had no problems.
Stephanie, who helped us with our initial contract was very helpful and professional, Hannah, who answered the phone at Alpine was always kind and helpful and Tiffany, the President was professional and respectful.
