At Alpine Property Management, we take the responsibility of screening rental applications seriously. In recent months, we've seen a noticeable increase in fraudulent documents submitted by applicants — including fake paystubs generated online, falsified bank statements, and illegitimate Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.
To protect your investment, we require a valid photo ID before we begin the screening process. This helps us verify the applicant’s identity and ensures that the information provided aligns with official records.
Our team dedicates 2–3 business days to thoroughly verify every piece of information in an application. We cross-check employment, income, rental history, and ESA documentation to ensure everything is legitimate and accurate.
We’ve also learned that urgency can be a red flag. When an applicant is in a rush to move in, we intentionally slow down the process to ensure we don’t overlook anything. Our experience has taught us how to spot inconsistencies and warning signs — and we use that knowledge to protect your property.
Rest assured, our goal is to place qualified tenants who will respect your property and fulfill their lease obligations. We appreciate your trust and remain committed to maintaining high standards in our tenant selection process.
